2nd open tournament "Danilo-Dajo Batricevic"

Organisers: Montenegro Chess Federation and Chess Club „Cetinje“
Schedule:
Registrations of players will be accepted until August 9th at 1, 30 p.m., and pairing for the first round will be published at 2, 00 p.m.
Opening Ceremony will be held on August 9th, at 3,30 p.m.
Rounds will be played every day (August 9-16) from 4,00 p.m., except last round which will be played on August 17th, at 10,00 a.m.
Playing hall: Congress hall of hotel “Grand” Cetinje
Accommodation for participants and accompanying persons will be provided in hotel "Grand" under following prices:
1/1 - 35,00 Euro + CT (full board)
1/2 - 30,00 Euro + CT (full board per person per day).
Organiser provided prize fund in total amount of 9.500,00 €, divided on 15 regular and 10 special prizes as following:
a) Regular prizes

Best placed unrewarded player with IM title 150 Euro
Best placed unrewarded player with FM title 100 Euro
Best placed women 150 Euro
Best placed veteran (born 1949 and older) 150 Euro
Best placed junior (born 1981. and younger) 150 Euro
Best placed junior-girl (born 1981. and younger) 100 Euro
Best placed player in following rating categories:
- unrated players and players with rating under 1800 100 Euro
- players with rating 1801 – 2000 100 Euro
- players with rating 2001 – 2200 100 Euro
(Remark: in order prize to be awarded in one of the mentioned categories at list three players must participate in that category)
Chess club “Cetinje” will award special prize “Danilo Dajo Batricevic” for the best placed player from that club in amount of 500 Euro.
Each player can receive one prize the most. The way of prize dividing and additional criteria will be precise in tournament regulations.
Important information's about tournament:
- Tournament will be rated at FIDE
- The tournament is scored for the final standings for „Balkan prix“ open tournaments
- Organiser guaranty participation of minimum 20 foreign players necessary criteria for the receiving norms for international titles.
- The tournament will be played by a 9-round Swiss System (computer pairing)
- The playing time will be 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from move one.
Organiser will provide chess sets for all participants.
Entry fee is 20 Euro. Grandmasters and players over 2400 are not in obligation to pay entry fee.
